MEMS Optical, Inc. (Huntsville, AL) and JENOPTIK Polymer Systems, Inc. (Rochester, NY) have merged with JENOPTIK Optical Systems, Inc. (Jupiter, FL) effective January 1, 2010. The merger creates a single corporation for the US based manufacturing operations of Jenoptik Optical Systems division.

The "Eyelike™ precision M22" 22 megapixel digital back is available now with an added 16-shot capability. Photographers are thus able to obtain ultra-high-resolution still-life shots with files as big as 498 megabytes.

New monochrome microscope camera for quantitative image analysis.

After the microscope camera manufacturer JENOPTIK Laser, Optik, Systeme GmbH was able to report monochrome reinforcement of its camera product line already a few weeks ago, this product segment has now been extended by a second monochrome microscope camera.

JENOPTIK Laser, Optik, Systeme GmbH will be running JENOPTIK LDT GmbH as a 100 percent owned subsidiary with immediate effect.
The Jenoptik subsidiary has acquired the remaining 40 percent of the shares in the Gera-based company from Schneider Laser Technologies AG (SLT), Gera, which has gone into insolvency.

JENOPTIK LDT GmbH to supply laser projection system for flight simulator.

JENOPTIK LDT GmbH has received the contract to supply a laser projection system to STN ATLAS Elektronik GmbH. A first Tornado flight simulator will be equipped with the new laser projection system. An RGB (red-green-blue) laser makes it possible for moving pictures to be projected onto a variety of different projection surfaces with the highest quality.
